The main objective of this project is to characterize the mobility of llama caravans between the interior oases and the Pacific, establishing eventual relationships with the geoglyphs of Cerros Pintados during the Late Intermediate period through analysis stratigraphic and contextual. It is hoped to identify the origins of goods in motion and the nature of exchange movements between hyperarid spaces. Furthermore, based on initial surveys, dates have been determined for hearths corresponding to the Archaic period at lower occupation levels, which will be evaluated during the project.
